Zoom Meetings

Post by Bette »

Hi Everyone
I thought I would post to say that voicing thoughts and feelings about having an addicted loved one is often best face to face, with others who have faced similar situations. Many FA meetings are now operating on Zoom which is easy to set up, and adjusting your settings can help you remain as anonymous as you like, your screen name can be edited to any name you choose and you can turn off the video so you are not visible as well, if you are more comfortable doing that.

The fact that meetings are now far more easily accessible due to the Covid19 outbreak is a definite advantage!

There is a list of meetings on this forum, and the main FA website.
You will need the contact number of whichever meeting you choose to get the meeting ID number and password. It doesn't have to be your most local one either.

Please ring the FA Helpline on
0207 498 4680 any day between 1-4 or 6-9 pm. The volunteer who will be manning the phone at that time will have access to the contact number you need.
